Actually, Richard Lugar (Republican-Indiana) also is "running his trap" on this. See below (from the link on Blogic's site).

"Our committee heard blindly optimistic people from the administration prior to the war and people outside the administration... that we just simply will be greeted with open arms," Senator Lugar said.

"The lack of planning is apparent."

*laugh* When Republicans don't drink the kool aid they are "running their traps." If Hagel had come out and said he though Iraq was super peachy, drmiler would want to buy the man dinner.
